North Bay Police will be carrying a “Flame of Hope” through the city today for the Annual Law Enforcement Torch Run. The Torch Run is something that police participate in across the province to benefit Special Olympics Ontario.
The run begins at 10:30 AM at police headquarters and ends at the Kiwanis band shell at around 11 AM. A barbecue will also take place at 11:30 AM at police headquarters with hot dogs and hamburgers.
All are welcome to attend. The money raised goes to Special Olympics Ontario.
