Police are not sure whether remains found in a marsh along Highway 11 south belong to a human or not. That was the consensus from a news conference, held by North Bay Police yesterday.
A shoe with apparent remains was discovered by out of town university students over the weekend. The remains have been sent to a forensic office for testing.
A Coroner’s investigation is now under way at the marsh and people might notice a larger police presence as the search continues. Deputy Chief Shawn Devine asks that the public respect police lines.
