North Bay Police is warning people not to go overboard with the booze ahead of tonight’s Stanley Cup final. They charged four people with public intoxication over the weekend, and say that it can lead to crime, violence, and impaired driving.
Under the Ontario Liquor License Act, it is against the law for someone to be intoxicated in a place where the general public is invited to access. It also says that no person shall be intoxicated in any part of a residence that is used in common by persons occupying more than one dwelling in the residence.
