The break and enter suspect is still on the loose. Last night’s canine unit search of Canadian Tire turned up no suspects, and police believe he isn’t in the area anymore.
The day long pursuit had the OPP’s Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit, and Aviation Services brought into the area by helicopter. The target of the break and enter was the firearms, and police say surveillance video showed the suspect carrying a long gun.
People are being asked to take extra precautions in the area. It is now open to the public.
