Case L’Ami, the owner of L’Ami’s Garden Centre in North Bay was back before city council on Monday. L’Ami wanted to know why Lakeshore hasn’t become a two way graveled street like council said it would last month by this time. Councillor Chris Mayne says Sierra expects to have the two lanes open by the end of the week and the road will be graded regularly. L’Ami hopes it will because he says right now it’s in terrible shape and is designed more for Hummers than regular cars and trucks.
