Three people have been charged with drunk driving in less than a week in the North Bay area.

The first happened on June 17th at 1 in the afternoon, when the OPP received a call about a suspicious car in Nipissing Township. After an investigation, a 40 year old Callander man was charged with impaired.

Two days later, police heard a report about a car crossing the centre line on Highway 17th in East Ferris. The car was stopped by police, and a 57-year-old Mattawa man ended up being charged with several offences including drunk driving.

Finally, yesterday at around 3 in the morning, a 23-year-old man from British Columbia crashed his car in Bonfield. He had non-life threatening injuries but ended up getting an impaired charge.
