The Labour Market Group is getting an $80,000 boost from the feds.
The funding will assist the group in strengthening Northern Ontario’s tourism sector. It’s being used to complete a study and strategic plan that looks at the labour force requirements of the tourism industry in the north.
Nipissing-Timiskaming MP Jay Aspin made the funding announcement in North Bay this morning. Aspin said in a statement that tourism continues to be a key sector in Northern Ontario, that employs thousands in our region.
