The Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board has approved it’s 2015 budget. They passed a balanced budget of 46-million dollars, with estimated operating expenses at 42-million, and another 3.7-million for non-operating expenses.
Some of the highlights from the budget include the expansion of a construction technology program for secondary students, the creation of new aboriginal programs, and a continued focus on student mental health. The Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board serves approximately 2,800 students in 11 public schools and 1 high school, St. Joseph-Schollard Hall.
