Momentum for a locally grown initiative against fentanyl abuse is gaining momentum across the province. The Patch 4 Patch program, which is incorporated into MPP Vic Fedeli’s Private Members Bill, is in the process of being implemented in 45 Ontario communities.
Under the program, a Fentanyl patient is required to return a used patch to the pharmacy before being prescribed a new one. The goal is to stop people from selling the used patches on the black market for hundreds of dollars.
