North Bay renters are paying more than ever.
That’s according to Canada Mortgage and Housing’s Spring Rental Market Report. It found that renting a bachelor apartment in the Gateway City is up 65-dollars from last spring, to an average of 550 dollars a month.
The total average rent is at 838-dollars a month, which is still an increase of 25 dollars. There are also fewer apartments to rent in the city, with the vacancy rate down to 3.4 per cent from 5 per cent in April.
