An emergency situation up at Jack Garland Airport has turned out to be nothing.
Police and fire were called to the scene at 7 PM last night. They have not said why, but within 45 minutes they were all cleared from the airport.
According to the North Bay Nugget, an airplane that needed emergency response was initially said to be landing at the North Bay airport, but never ended up heading this way. Police have not released any other details on the situation.
