A 33-year-old man is in hospital after a standoff with West Nipissing Police.
On Saturday afternoon, police responded to a complaint about a man shooting a pellet gun at a neighbor’s home in Sturgeon Falls. When they arrived at the suspect’s home, he refused to come out and talk to police.
Police contained the area after noticing the man was displaying some odd behavior. After five hours, the man eventually turned himself over to police. No one was injured, but the suspect was sent to hospital. Police are still investigating.
