The city’s water rates review committee has decided that users will be charged based on the size of their water rate connection.
This means that homes with smaller connections will be saving more. They must still get a majority vote from council for that to pass.
The committee has also asked the city to look at ways to charge people in multi-use dwellings such as condominiums. They are hoping to get a report back within two weeks from the city.
