Fedeli: Liberals will ignore energy recommendations from business group

Don`t expect the Wynne Liberals to adopt energy reducing ideas from the Ontario chamber of commerce.  That`s according to Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli.

A couple of weeks ago the OCC released recommendations on how the Liberals can help Ontarians reduce their power bills.  That follows a chamber study that shows 91 percent of northerners are worried how high rates will affect them and the economy.

Despite all this, Fedeli is certain the Liberals will ignore the recommendations.  That’s because they would need to admit that their Green Energy Act is a failure and they’re not the type to say they were wrong.

One recommendation calls for not replacing nuclear energy with power bought from Quebec.
