A cabinet minister under the former Bill Davis government has given Ontario Tories advice for the 2018 provincial election. Alan Pope who was a well-known MPP for the Tories in Northern Ontario, talked to MPP’s on how to win back seats.
Vic Fedeli of Nipissing was one of the MPP’s listening and says Pope makes sense. Pope talked about four-laning the Trans-Canada Highway in Northern Ontario, an issue Fedeli says everyone is ignoring.
Fedeli says Pope also talked about how to restore Ontario’s ranking as the number one mining centre in the world. He says under the Liberals, Ontario is now ranked 23rd internationally.
