North Bay police are warning residents to watch for a mail scam where you’re entitled to part of a $5.8 million inheritance from Spain. Some homeowners are getting letters from a lawyer telling them part of the inheritance is theirs. Police say if you call the lawyer as requested, he’ll want banking and financial info from you. The cops say don’t fall for it because it’s a con and all the scammers want is your personal information so they can defraud you.
