A 26-year-old Powassan man is facing impaired charges.
On Friday, police attended a single-vehicle crash on Main Street in Powassan around 1 am.
OPP Media Relations, Shona Camirand, says police found the driver at his residence a short time after.
The man was charged with:
Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration
Operation While Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs
He suffered minor injuries in the crash.
He was released and will appear in court on November 24.
The incident marks the 40th impaired driving charge in the detachment area so far this year.
