A North Bay girl has died in an ATV crash in northern British Columbia.
Algonquin Secondary School student Brienne Longpre passed away Tuesday night. The RCMP believe that the ATV she was on veered off a gravel road, throwing Longpre into the air.
Longpre was an avid softball player and a member of the North Bay Figure Skating Club. Dozens of social media sympathy messages are now being shared by friends and family in the community.
