The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is warning of a blue green algae bloom found in Jack Lake in Armour Township. The bloom could be toxic, and people on private water systems are asked to avoid drinking, cooking, or bathing in the water. People should also avoid swimming or other water sport activities in the lake. Boiling the water, or using an at home water treatment system will not get rid of the toxins.
