Residents in the Lakeshore Drive area in North Bay may notice their water is dirty next week. The city is continuing their directional flushing program on Lakeshore and all the side streets from Banner Avenue to Premier Road.
The work will be done from 8am until 4pm, beginning Monday, August 17th, to Friday, August 21st. This is regular maintenance that happens throughout all areas of the city.
People might also notice their water pressure is low. If you notice you water is still dirty after crews leave, start running your cold water at a tap with no screen until it comes out clear. This could take 30 to 60 minutes. If you have any questions, contact the city’s public works department.
