North Bay’s Deputy Mayor wants staff to look into building a beach platform at the city’s waterfront.
Sheldon Forgette says the platform would make the sandy beach and water accessible to people in wheelchairs. He has filed a motion to have staff look into the cost and installation of a platform. It has not been seconded yet.
City council would require a report with a recommendation by April 2016.
