The Association of Municipalities of Ontario conference is under way in Niagara Falls. North Bay Mayor Al McDonald and councillor Mac Bain are attending, and they have set up several meetings to address local infrastructure and economic development.
McDonald says it’s a chance for delegates of every municipality to take a look at common challenges. He says the most common one each municipality outside of the GTA has is job creation.  McDonald has a meeting scheduled with the Minister of Northern Development and Mines about the city’s airport industrial park.
