The North Bay Community Garden Coalition has launched another initiative to help feed the hungry in North Bay.
It’s called the North Bay Fruit Tree Project. The goal is to link local community members with unpicked fruit trees on private or public property.
If you have an unpicked fruit tree find them on Facebook, and they will send over a volunteer to harvest it. The harvest will be split into thirds, and will go to you, the pickers, and local food programs.
