North Bay politicians will decide whether they want to push water meter billing back a few months tonight.
Councillor Mike Anthony is forwarding a motion to have billing start January 1st, 2016 instead of September 1st of this year. It is being seconded by councilor Jeff Serran.
Anthony feels postponing the start date would give people more time to sign up for the online portal, and monitor their water usage. Anthony also says that it would give the city more time to work out any kinks that may arise with the new billing system.
