A Sturgeon Falls man is facing several domestic related charges.
On Tuesday morning, a concerned person called police after they heard a heated argument between a man and woman coming from a bush off of Main Street West in North Bay. It’s alleged the argument between the couple turned violent when the man hit her with a tree branch and prevented her from the leaving the area.
The 31-year-old man now faces seven charges including assault with a weapon and uttering threats. To protect the identity of the victim, who suffered non-life threatening injuries, police will not be releasing the man’s name.
