UPDATE: Police have done an extensive search of the Airport Road and Carmichael Drive area and believe the suspects are no longer in the area. Police are still actively investigating and ask that anyone information contact them immediately. The suspects may be armed and should not be approached.
EARLIER: OPP and North Bay Police are searching for suspects in the area of Airport Road and the base. The two suspects should be considered armed and dangerous. The OPP is asking everyone to avoid the area. CFB North Bay is under lock down as police search for the suspects.
The suspects are connected to a home invasion that happened in Redbridge early this morning. A short time after the incident, police stopped a car with four people in it in the area of Hornell Heights. Two of the suspects got away on foot and the other two were taken into custody.
The outstanding suspects are described as tall, thin, and wearing black colored clothing. If you know anything about their whereabouts contact police.
