Fedeli on Tory leader’s by-election win

With last week’s by-election out of the way in Simcoe, Progressive Conservative leader Patrick Brown can now join the Ontario Legislature.  Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli joined Brown on the campaign trail and says the leader was well received.  Among the issues Brown raised was how the Wynne Liberals bury companies in red tape.  And Fedeli says he talked about one issue that Northern Ontario residents know all too well; the Ring of Fire.   Brown told voters that a permit for a mining company that should have taken only 45 days to approve, took three years.  Fedeli and Brown both say it’s this kind of bureaucracy that’s dropped Ontario’s standing in the mining sector.  Fedeli says Brown’s huge margin of victory should send shockwaves to the Liberals when MPP’s return to Queen’s Park.
