Federal candidates in the Nipissing-Timiskaming riding will square off in a debate on September 17th.
It’s being held at Nipissing University, by the Student Union, Retired Teachers of Ontario, and Canadore’s Student Council. The debate will focus on student and seniors issues, and will made up of predetermined questions, followed by a question period from the audience.
Liberal Candidate Anthony Rota, Green candidate Nicole Peltier, and NDP candidate Kathleen Jodouin have already confirmed their attendance. They are still waiting to hear back from Conservative candidate Jay Aspin. The debate will be from 2 until 4pm at room F213.
