$5000 worth of stolen goods found in Phelps Township

North Bay OPP has recovered over $5,000 worth of suspected stolen goods.

While on patrol on Friday in Phelps Township, officers noticed stolen property off Songis Road near OFCS Trails A112A and NB308.

The stolen items include tools, an outhouse, hunting and fishing gear and more.

The goods were believed to be taken during break-and-enters in the area which have not been reported. Some of the items were returned to their owners.

“If you were the victim of a theft recently in the Phelps area and have not reported it to police, please call the North Bay OPP, we are looking for the owners of dozens of recovered stolen property,” the OPP stated in a release.

The investigation remains ongoing. Police are asking anyone with information regarding these thefts to contact the North Bay OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
