Multiple break and enters over Thanksgiving: police

The North Bay Police Service is asking the public for information on three break and enters that happened over Thanksgiving weekend.

In the early morning of Saturday, September 10, police say a suspect broke into a business on Progress Road, taking a small amount of cash.

That same morning, police say several storage containers and vehicles were broken into on Highway 17 E in North Bay. Nothing was stolen, but there was damage to one vehicle.

Shortly after midnight on October 11, near Highway 17, police say items were taken from numerous vehicles, along with one residence which saw an unsuccessful break and enter attempt.

Sometime between the afternoon of October 11 and the morning of October 12, they say a business on Highway 17 was broken into. Cash and electronics were taken from the location.

The North Bay Police Street Crime Unit has been assigned and is actively investigating these occurrences with the assistance of the Forensic Identification Unit.
