UPDATE: Madsen has been contacted and police are no longer looking for him.
The North Bay Police Service (NBPS) is asking the public for help in finding a missing man.
Police are searching for Mitchell Madsen, who is described as six feet tall with short, brown hair and a brown goatee.
Sgt. Paul Brewer of the NBPS says that officers are still working to figure out where Madsen was last seen. Brewer says that he lives on Worthington Street East and “frequents the downtown area.”

Brewer says that police want to confirm Madsen’s well-being, adding that the public notice is “precautionary.”
