Handguns, drugs taken in multiple-person arrest

Drugs, weapons, cash and a car were seized by North Bay Police, resulting in multiple charges being laid against four people. 

On Tuesday evening, police say an investigation led to the arrest of three men and one woman on Clarence street in North Bay. All four people are from Hamilton and are between the ages of 18 and 21. 

During the arrest, police collected over 110 grams of suspected Fentanyl, over six grams of suspected cocaine, almost $8,000 worth of cash and two handguns. 

The estimated value of the drugs is $34,310.

The four people are all facing numerous charges in relation to drug possession, trafficking, weapons charges and breaching of probation. 

Police arrested three out of the four people while in a vehicle, finding the fourth person on foot near the area. Officers also seized the vehicle. 

All of the accused remain in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
