NBPS, OPP search warrant leads to Fentanyl bust

Over $45,000 dollars worth of suspected fentanyl is now off the streets. 

Last night, North Bay Police Service and the OPP searched a home in the 500 block area of McIntyre Street East in North Bay. 

Police seized over 150 grams of suspected fentanyl and over 110 grams of an unknown white powder substance that is still being analyzed. 

 

One Oshawa resident, age 21, has been charged with;

One count of Possession Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl); and

One count of Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000.

 

Another person from Oshawa, also 21, has been charged with;

One count of Possession Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl); 

One count of Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000; and

One count of Fail to Comply with Release Order

 

A 39-year-old North Bay woman has been charged with;

One count of Possession Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl); and

One count of Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000.

 

And a 43-year-old North Bay man is charged with;

One count of Possession Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl); and

One count of Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000.

 

The four are being held in custody pending bail hearings.
