Police search for three suspects in break and enter

North Bay Police continue to search for three suspects in relation to a break and enter at a business.

Police say the break-in happened in the 1300 block of businesses on Hammond Street at around 2 am on November 26. They say three suspects broke into the business through a window and took power tools along with two laptops.

The suspects then stole a 2006 Acura that was parked on the property at the time, which was recovered by police the next day after it was abandoned on Rose Avenue.

Constable John Schultz says security footage from a neighbouring business provided a visual description of the suspects:

The first suspect is described as a medium build man wearing a camouflage jacket, blue jeans, and a blue toque with a white stripe.

The second suspect was dressed all in black with fur on the hood of their winter jacket.

The third was wearing a black jacket with fur on the hood and grey jogging pants.

Police did not provide a photo of the suspects.

Schultz says businesses in industrial areas like Hammond Street are often targeted by thieves, referencing a similar break and enter case earlier in the year. He says they are largely targeted at night when the business owners are not there.

The investigation is continuing and police request that if you have information that may assist to call the North Bay Police Service at 705-497-5555 and select option 9 to speak to a police officer.
