The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is reporting one new case of COVID-19.
The case is the result of community spread, and the person is now isolating in hospital.
The individual is between the ages 60 and 79.
One new resolved case has also been reported.
There are now six active cases in the region, two of which are in the Nipissing District.
