North Bay police have laid charges after two separate incidents last week.
Indecent act on a bus
A 21-year-old man has been charged for an Indecent Act on a North Bay city bus.Â
Police say he was showing his genitals to a woman while riding the bus.Â
The man has been released from police custody and will answer the charges in court on January 26.
Assault Charges
A North Bay man is facing assault charges among others after an incident last week.Â
Police say two men who knew each other got into a fight on King street. One man allegedly beat the other with a telephone receiver.Â
The victim was held in hospital for treatment of minor injuries.Â
The suspect was then arrested when he showed up at police headquarters later that evening.Â
The 42-year-old man is being charged with:
- One count of Assault with a Weapon;
- One count of Aggravated Assault; and
- Two counts of breach of probation.
The man is in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
