The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit has declared a risk of COVID-19 exposure at the Walmart in North Bay.
The Health Unit states the night stocking staff working December 11 to 13 are at risk of possible COVID-19 transmission.
There is no risk to shoppers or the daytime staff of the store.
“Based on the placement of the staff, the Health Unit has not identified a COVID-19 risk to shoppers, including those who were at the store between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m., cashiers or staff working during the day,” the Health Unit states.
The announcement comes as the region surpassed 100 COVID-19 cases on Friday.
