32 COVID-19 cases recorded in first week of 2021

The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is reporting one new case of COVID-19 to close out the first week of 2021.

So far in 2021, there have been 32 cases of COVID-19 recorded. That’s roughly 20 percent of our total cases during the pandemic. 

The 164th case in our region is a person between 20 and 39 years old and is the result of community spread. 

There were also seven new resolved cases added Friday.

There are 23 active cases of COVID-19 in our region, 14 of which are in the Nipissing District.
