The city is mourning the death of a local politician today.
Former Nipissing MP Moe Mantha passed away over the weekend. He was 81 years old. Mantha served as MP in Nipissing from 1984 to 1988.
The Mantha family also opened the first golf club in Sturgeon Falls over 50 years ago. A funeral is being planned in Sturgeon Falls this week.
