The Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM) and the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU) Local 677 Unit 2 announced their fourth collective agreement on Tuesday.
The new agreement covers four years and is in effect retroactively from May 1st, 2020 to April 30, 2024.
The previous agreement between NOSM and OPSEU Local 677 unit 2, representing 132 staff, expired April 30th and negotiations were postponed in light of the pandemic.
This marked the first time that such an agreement was negotiated via video-conferencing.
