The local health unit announced Monday afternoon that the first shipment of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine was received.
The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit says the small shipment will be given to residents of long-term care, as per Monday’s provincial announcement.
The health unit says they are still on track to have all residents of long-term care and elder care residents of First Nation Communities vaccinated by February 5th.
