People that live along the Highway 17 corridor could have an easier time getting from Mattawa to North Bay come mid-fall.
The District of Nipissing Social Services Administration Board is finalizing the details of their Nipissing Travellink pilot project. The project would see buses connect riders between Mattawa to the city of North Bay, and points in between.
The Ministry of Transportation has provided a $100,000 grant towards the project. Information from the program would be evaluated to see whether the new transportation route is needed.
