Scotiabank’s downtown location is closed to the public due to COVID-19.
Daniela Da Silva, Manager of Canadian Banking Communications for the bank, shared with MooseFM that one of the employees tested positive for the virus.
“The health and safety of our employees and customers is our top priority,” she said. “We have temporarily closed our branch at 204 Main Street W, North Bay, Ontario, as one of our employees has tested positive for COVID-19. We are following guidance from public health officials and the branch will be open to appointments only at this time. Scotiabank continues to cooperate with local health authorities as needed.”
Da Silva says she couldn’t confirm when the branch would re-open, but did say the Fisher St. branch remains open.
