Three Sturgeon Falls adults face drug and weapon charges

Three Sturgeon Falls adults are facing numerous charges after a traffic stop in North Bay.

John Schultz, Community Safety Coordinator for the North Bay Police says that around midnight last night, the vehicle was stopped in the 1000 block radius of Main Street West. During the stop, one of the accused was identified as being in breach of a release condition. Schultz says police then searched the vehicle and found a small amount of suspected methamphetamine, crack cocaine, and fentanyl as well as a pair of brass knuckles.

A 48-year-old from Sturgeon Falls is charged with:

  • Seven counts of Breach of Recognizance of Bail;
  • Two counts of Possession of a Substance; and,
  • One count of Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.

A 34-year-old from Sturgeon Falls is charged with;

  • Two counts of Possession of a Substance;
  • One count of Possession of a Prohibited Weapon; and,
  • One count of Breach of Undertaking.

A 28-year-old Sturgeon Falls is charged with:

  • Three counts of Possession of a Substance; and,
  • One count of Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.

One remains in custody and two will appear in North Bay court in April.
