Over 3,700 vaccine doses administered over long weekend, 5 cases reported

The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is reported five new cases of COVID-19 as Monday morning.
Of the new cases, three are in people between ages 20-39 and one is under the age of 19. The fifth reported case is in a person between the ages of 60 and 79 and that individual is isolated in hospital.
Another 3,718 vaccines were administered and over 800 tests for COVID-19 were done over Easter Weekend.
One case was deemed resolved.
There are currently 11 active cases in the region, 8 in Nipissing and 3 in Parry Sound.
