The intersection of Main Street West, Memorial Drive, Murray and Oak Streets will be under construction beginning next week.
Starting Monday, work will be done to continue the West Link multi-use pathway which began construction last year.
The project will include the reconfiguration of lanes, the addition of a left turn lane on Murray Street, and line painting for bikes. The work also includes the extension of the multi-use pathway on Memorial Drive. The pathway will extend to the intersection, where it will connect to designated bike lanes on Main Street West.
The intersection will remain open for vehicle traffic but travel delays are to be expected.
The project is expected to be completed in July.
