Ontario Northland is trying to reach an agreement with Unifor Local 103. They have requested the Federal Minister of Labour to set up a vote on the last offer tabled to the union.
In a release, President and CEO Corina Moore says, “This is a critical time for our organization and I encourage Unifor’s membership to shape a new future with this agreement that will encourage business growth and provide security for employees.”
The labour group represents 315 employees at the rail company. They have been without a collective agreement since 2013.
