April 22nd is when trustees with the Near North District School Board get a final report on the future of six schools in the Burks Falls area. Trustees will decide on their future at a regular board meeting June 24th. In between those dates, parents whose children attend the affected schools can make their case to trustees. There’s a meeting May 21st at Land of Lakes Public School where trustees will hear arguments for why some schools should be left alone. Anyone who plans on making a presentation at that May meeting has to let the board know by May 19th.
