Families are the current focus of fundraising efforts at the North Bay Regional Health Centre.
The Hospital Foundation wants to secure a green light laser to treat enlarged prostates, a central and fetal monitoring system for Labour and Delivery, and funding for the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Unit. They will be hosting their annual “Our Hospital Walk Run” on October 18th.
North Bay Regional Health Centre CEO Paul Heinrich is hopeful recent news of restructuring at the health centre will encourage the community to come together for these causes. Parker’s Independent Grocer also announced a $5,000 donation to the hospital during yesterday’s media event.
