The intersection of Highway 11/17 and Seymour Street will be undergoing the final phase of its reconstruction.
Beginning Monday, the right-turn ramps at each intersection will be closed for about two weeks. Drivers who are turning right will have to do so in the right lane, which could lead to congestion.
Starting May 25, the intersection will be closed during off-peak hours for milling and paving. The work will be done from 7 pm to 7 am daily and will likely lead to delays.
“The City of North Bay, Ontario Ministry of Transportation and the contractor are aware of and
appreciate the need to maintain traffic through the Highway 11/17 and Seymour Street
corridors, but this necessary work must be completed responsibly and safely at all times,” the City stated.
